Membership in the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers is open to Professional Engineers and people who are on the track toward licensure as a Professional Engineer.

This event honors Maryland's latest class of Licensed Professional Engineers. There are typically 125-150 in attendance. Previous governors and other prominent officials have taken part in this regularly held, bi-annual event. It takes many years of study and practice to become a professional engineer. Pictures are taken and families are present as members of the Maryland State Board for Professional Engineers present newly licensed engineers with their official Maryland State PE wall certificate. It is truly a meaningful event for everyone.
Keynote Speaker: The Honorable Peter Franchot, Maryland Comptroller
The Christie Awards and Outstanding Service to the Profession Award will also be presented during the award ceremony.
