The Department of General Services (DGS) is seeking talented and highly motivated individuals to join our Energy Performance and Conservation team in Baltimore. Our Energy Office has been established in support of Governor O’Malley’s “EmPOWER Maryland” Initiative. Our new energy efficiency goals will save taxpayers money, reduce energy market stress, and improve the environment. The initiative contains seven steps to help State government reduce power consumption by 15% by the year 2015, and the DGS Energy team will play an integral part in improving building operations, expanding the use of energy performance contracting, improving Statewide tracking and analyses of energy consumption and improving efficiency, and in designing and building more energy efficient State facilities.

·   Capital Projects Engineer Electrical or Mechanical (must be a Registered Engineer)

·   Engineer Senior – Electrical or Mechanical (must be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer)
