Must have the P.E. certification - professional engineer

24 X 7 experience
Available for after hours emergencies
Worked in a data center
Good Backgrounds- other defense contractors, hospitals, banks, places where the data centers always need to be up and running.

Required Experience:
-
Ten (10) or more years of related experience with a minimum of (5) years experience in a commercial and mission critical facilities management environment.

Experience in commercial electrical design
-
Maintenance experience in mid-size Tier II & III data centers.
-
Experience with backup power systems including UPS / batteries, engine generators / automatic transfer switches, redundant power distribution systems and 7x24 operations is required.
-
Registered P.E. (Professional Electrical Engineer) is a requirement.
-
Availability for on call after hours emergency response.

Desired Experience:
-
Experience as a corporate energy / relationship manager for multiple commercial utilities / regions.

Supervisory experience.

Ability to draw in AutoCAD and work with computer aided facilities management systems (CAFM).

Ability to participate on a team to propose / implement design and engineering services for internal and external customers.
-
Possess good communication, writing / presentation skills and serve as engineering liaison between Facilities Management and Information Technology.

Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Education or Certification Requirements: BSEE and registration as a Professional Electrical Engineer (P.E). Knowledge of NEC / NFPA codes.
